Born in 1952 in Bandung, West
Java. He graduated from the prestigious art school of Yogyakarta. He made more than
50 exhibitions since 1977 in Indonesia as well as in Germany, Netherlands, Japan and
Malaysia. He was associated with the progressive New Indonesian Fine Art Movement of
the 1970s.
